Llannon Council Community Grant Scheme

Apply for upto £300

Llannon council has developed a scheme for which individuals or organisations can apply should they need funds to deliver a particular project or scheme which benefits the community within the Council's area.

EXAMPLES OF ORGANISATIONS WHO MAY APPLY 

  • Not for profit organisations
  • Charities
  • Sports Clubs
  • Youth Projects / Clubs
  • Older adult events / groups / clubs
  • People Organising local community events
  • Individuals representing the community 
  • Environmental projects
  • Child / Baby Groups
  • Local chapels / churches

 

WHAT YOU SHOULD CONSIDER WHEN MAKING YOUR APPLICATION

The Council will look for projects that can demonstrate that they are doing something impactful for the community, that can clearly highlight exactly what the money will be used for, and how this financial grant support from the council will positive effect your project.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU HAVE SUBMITTED YOUR APPLICATION

Your application will be presented to the next scheduled Council Meeting. A response to your submission will be sent to you via email within 60 days in receipt of your initial application.

If you are successful, we will contact you to get your bank details. We will also send you some guidance on some of the controls we expect as a result of reviving this grant. These will include,

  • evidence of how you spent the grant (receipts, invoices, images)
  • evidence of the impact this grant has had on your project and the community you look to serve (images, testimonials, stories etc)

Evidence of the impact this sum has had on your project will be posted onto the council website.
